Here's a chance to make your own natural herbal remedies using common wayside and garden herbs.
In this hands-on workshop we will cover oils and ointments, infusions, decoctions, syrups and tinctures.
Most materials will be provided but if you want to make your own tincture bring some vodka or brandy (in its original bottle or with a note of the percentage alcohol) and a wide-necked lidded jar (preserving jars or Kilner jars are ideal).
If the weather is kind and we have time we might also fit in a walk to a nearby park to see what herbs we can spot.

10% discount on appointments at Rowan Cottage if you attend by bus, bicycle, or on foot. Wester Craigie farm track is 1 mile north of the village of Whitecairns on the B999 on bus route 290 - Rowan Cottage is the last house on the track, ½ a mile from the road.
